Welcome TOGETHER WE CAN HELP FEED CHILDREN
Hungry children are hard to imagine in the United States, and in communities like Tulsa. However, hard economic times like these have placed many children and families of today below the poverty level. There are many kids in our elementary schools we worry about. Many of them depend on the food provided in the school cafeteria for daily meals.But what happens over the weekend when school is closed?
We asked that same question, and today we work with the school districts in the West Tulsa community to help feed hungry kids over the weekends and during school breaks.
In cooperation with Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, we feed elementary, middle, and high school students on a weekly basis.
